This one is tricky for me to rate. I feel like the author writing is a bit tricky for me to understand, no shame in admitting it, but somehow I feel like I understand everything Frank Herbert is trying to convey in is writting.
About the story, I enjoyed every bit of it. The new characters are interesting and add more complexity to the world building of Dune. It's interesting to see the plot take more dark tones then the first one. Paul is being "attacked" in multiple ways and the role of emperor is getting harder, followed by the price of seeing visions of the future, either bad or good visions.
Overall I think the second book was great and as good as the first one.
