This is confusing to me, because I like that we get Muderbot solo adventures but at the same point I feel like to a degree this is canon and doesn't matter to the main arc. That said, I love that the author went this way and decided to world build as much as possible while still showing us how Murderbot is evolving with every adventure.
The relationship between Miki and Abene was interesting and hopeful I would say. In a way it reminded me of the first book human "friends" that Murderbot made and I think the author tried to show that he was starting to like humans, but only certain humans. This implies his social evolution and how his morality works.
My rating might seem quite high but I guess I'm not afraid of rating something high when I genuinely liked it, even if it's biased by the series bagage. Overall I still think this third installment was better then the second, but not better then the first.
